"In this sculpture, six archival photos from I was an infant till today were each printed out on a letter sized paper. These photos were then cut into squares and folded into a box. As I get older in the picture, the boxes turn smaller. The video projects the process of the folding while the sound of cooking could be heard in distance. Three 24 hour countdown timers are set in loop, to time the remaining hours till 'Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner..'

The work explores the power dynamic of the nurturer and the nurtured, and how the nurtured body would self identify itself over time. Through the act of tailoring a body into an origami box, I investigate the suppression of turning one’s own body into a vessel that could receive, so the relationship of a nurturer and nurtured may continue.
